- A freelance photographer for National Geographic in Kansas was arrested after paragliding over a feedlot there and photographing it from the air. Authorities say it was a matter of trespassing on the ground, and the state holds it a crime to enter a livestock facility to take pictures “with the intent to damage the enterprise.â€
- Former Chronicle writer Ray Ring interviews Mary Vant Hull, the “Mayor of Burke Park†on the destruction wrought by unofficial trails at Peets Hill in Bozeman.
- A Blackfeet tribe member was arrested for comments made to Facebook. Tribal Ordinance 67 protects members from “allegetion of threats, slanderous material and misleading information.â€
