An on-the-ball reader of the Chronicle sent us an email this morning letting us know that Google Maps has updated the satellite photos of Bozeman that appear on the website.
The old images — the ones in place the last time I had to look up an address in Google Maps — were from 2005, writes Charlie Rose of Bozeman. The new images, he says, were taken Sept. 28, 2011.
According to a posting on the unofficial Google Earth Blog, Bozeman was the only city in Montana to receive an imagery refresh.
Thanks to Charlie for letting us know!
Well, do you remember where you were on Sept. 28? Can you spot yourself on the map?
